... bejewelled with water droplets, on the tightly closed catkins on Wooler Common.

Another very mild but dreich day, with heavy cloud on the high tops and drizzle as we walked round the Common with Louie this morning. Lots of little birds (chaffinches, tits, robins) on the feeders and in the trees, and MrM spotted a red squirrel leaping from tree to tree. 

A good day for catching up indoors - lots of little chores completed, and the living room tidied now the last of the decorations have been packed away. And, this afternoon, a trip to the tip on the way to walk Louie on Weetwood Moor. Just need to do a final drawing of the new tailpiece design now I think I know what MrM wants...
