Mahonia

L and I enjoyed a walk this morning through the Botanic Gardens ..... after coffee and a scone in one of the dozens of cafes in Byres Road,

No rain today but still plenty of moisture left on the leaves of this Mahonia. Such vibrant reds and greens but oh so jaggy. If one wanted to prune that shrub the thickest gardening gloves would be an essential.
