going for a song

not one, but two Winter Wassail concerts today with the Cairn Chorus, first in Dunscore and then in Moniaive. The audiences seemed to like our singing. I loved every minute of it. Now we have to wait until mid-February for the next session of rehearsals. Our concerts will be at the end of may and beginning of June, with some newly-written songs, performed with the Scottish Ensemble. Very exciting.

I took down the tree this morning; I never like doing that. But I left up all the greenery (usually we keep it until February 2nd which is Candlemas) and I have decided that I am going to put up more lights and light more candles. Let there be light! Rowan Pelling agrees with me :-)
