Not quite perfect!
Today's Blip is some tasty looking Stained glass window biscuits. Last night me and the two youngest decided that we would catch up on some baking. We had planned on doing these during the Christmas break but time ran out. We had the ingredients so why not! Basically they are a biscuit with a boiled sweet melted in the middle. With the oven pre heated, the biscuits were cut out and placed on a baking tray which was linned with greaseproof paper, a boiled sweet placed into a cut out in the middle of each biscuit and in to the oven they went. The only problem was when it came to getting the biscuits off of the baking tray and onto a cooling rack. I had misread the instructions which had said to use baking parchment and not greaseproof paper as I had! Therefore our stained glass window biscuits are a little cloudy due to the greaseproof paper that is stuck to the boiled sweet part! Lesson learned!!!
