HD has had problems with swallowing for a while; eve so often his throat would rather move things back up rather than down. He got himself a scope, a few biopsies, and a diagnosis waiting to be confirmed - a really weird but not so uncommon allergic reaction to God knows what. It will be confirmed by unusually high count of particular white blood cells in his esophagus. If that is the case, he will need the fun allergy work-up, consisting of a back full of scratches and no shower for 24 hours. Whatever scratch(es) lights up with a reaction - is the guilty party, maybe.... Who knew...
