A late bloomer

I started this amaryllis bulb the first weekend in December. This is how far it's come along in a month!
On the bright side, that means I won't miss the bloom while I am gone the next 2 weeks!
Yes, I will be in warmer climes with interesting birds and sunsets to Blip. Yay!!
