We did it!

We're in our new house!

Spent the day moving from our D.C. house -- in the middle of a rare snow storm too! Now safely ensconced at home, in the middle of boxes and packages. No internet or phone unfortunately, so blips will be via iPhone for a few days until we sort through this (we really could've used our friend John on that task -- or simply to have him enjoy this experience...)

Our first dinner was courtesy of our next door neighbor and made it feel like we were in fact home. It's so nice to have a home cooked meal without having to prepare it :)

Next week we receive the nine containers with our stuff from the old family home. That's when the fun really starts ;)
