Turned out nice

As Son1 and I set off down the A3 to Hayling Island at 9.30 this morning in torrential rain it did seem a little crazy. However, it turned out the weather forecast was somewhat inaccurate and when we arrived there was no sign of rain down there. What's more, the sun was out and remained out for virtually the whole of our circular route with the Easy Riders from Hayling to Portsmouth and back. We did about 20 miles in all via Langstone Harbour and Farlington Marshes, with a stop-off on the seafront in Southsea for coffee and (in my case) coffee cake, and then returned to Hayling via the ferry. A lovely morning and a great start to the Bank Holiday weekend :)
