Here I come!!

Well not quite the landing I had in mind, but a good practise run I reckon.  I think the word had gone out that there was a wombat wandering around Augusta with a Sony Camera intent on catching a pelican with full landing gear in action.  Every day this week there have been up to 26 pelicans around pelican rock and today there were 3!  I have a feeling the local licensed fisherman may have been netting fish up the river, well they had to be somewhere in the vicinity and they sure didn't show up down our way this afternoon.
I'm still hopeful of capturing the full kit and caboodle of landing gear as it hits the water so will venture out again tomorrow :-)
