Aga saga for distraction

Routine two weekly visit to The Macmillan centre at the Western General Hospital for blood transfusion. There is a book exchange system next to the coffee shop, so I was able to get a hard back copy of one of Joanna Trollope's books. She takes an issue, in this case adoption, and weaves a story round it. Someone commented to me her books are sad, I feel they are realistic which involves ups and downs and may well be challenging. A good read so far and indeed a good distraction.
