It's a Liverpool thing! Now I'd never heard of these until I visited my son at university last year - but what I was more surprised by was the fact that it is right opposite his flat and there are others around the city and that he had no idea what they were and why they are around and didn't question it or attempt to find out at all, where as I was intrigued! Is it just a teenage thing? Anyway I took him back today after the Christmas break - I shed a tear on the way home - does empty nest syndrome ever go away?
