Light through the darkness

We had a great day with some visitors - a really lovely family that we don't see often enough. We were in Trent Park for the fading light and it was wonderful.

The day ended though with very sad news. A very good friend who was valiant, kind, patient and gentle, immensely clever and humble, sturdy, gracious, a husband and father of 3 young adults, died suddenly tonight. He is with his Lord in Heaven.
