Silly Saturday ....

Today didn't exactly go as planned ....

Last week we purchased a lawn tractor from a local gentleman and had arranged to pick it up today.  We are having to rent a trailer to get it home and when R went out to start his truck in order to get the trailer ... the battery was dead!!  Must be the cold temperatures!

Change of plans.

It was going to take a good couple of hours to charge the battery so we arranged with the guy that we would come pay for the tractor today and then pick it up on Sunday.  We left the battery charging and went to pay the guy.

On the way to his house we stopped at the Trexler Game Preserve as it was in the same area.  On road leading into the game preserve I spotted a red fox leaping in the field.  STOP! We quickly stopped so that I could at least get a picture even though he/she was waaaay out in the field.  This would be a first time I have ever gotten a picture of a wild fox.  It wasn't much to write home about ... but it was a fox!

Also on the way home we stopped in Northampton to see the US Navy F-14A Tomcat plane that is on display at the VFW.  Today has been super cold so we didn't stay long!  

When we arrived home I saw something in the cold snow that intrigued me .... can you tell what this is?
