Spoilt for choice

Went for a walk along the Thames this afternoon. It was a very still day with the mist rising off the water. Everywhere you looked there was a photo opportunity.

I took lots of pictures including shots of mist enveloping the weir and the lock but the simplicity of this picture just seemed the most pleasing somehow. Shame I didn't quite frame it right, but I guess if I was that concerned a bit of cropping would fix that.

Going to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers on TV with my eldest son later but time for a rest, a cup of coffee and a couple of phone calls first.
