If you look carefully you’ll see row of street lamps running across the top of the frame.  It’s a cycle path and I’ve walked or cycled along that route for years and I’ve never noticed this hide before.  

It’s a small nature reserve close to the Open University campus.  The reeds were transplanted from Lincolnshire some 30-odd years ago.  They’ve done well.
