The Look

The look you get from a female Cardinal when you kneel on ice and it is -21C with the windchill.  "Nutter." she muttered.  And then was quite thrilled to eat some seed.

I had no intention on going out in the cold but it started to snow at dawn, so I threw on some layers and headed out in the snow.  By the time I reached my destination, the snow had stopped, the sun had come out...but the cold remained.  The woods were very much alive so all worth it!
