Like a Pig in Guano

5,000+ breeding pairs of gannets, and mo dhuine was like a pig in guano (see extra shots for mo dhuine, and for a sense of the size of the colony).

Wondering what those dark lumps are in the background? A colony of Cape Fur Seals, eyeing up the gannets and wondering whether to attack (which apparently they do).
