....point them up the hill and keep telling them "you're nearly there"!

It was quite a climb going up the Col de Joux Plane which has featured several times in the Tour de France. It started as a challenge to see who could go the furthest without stopping, but in the end with a few breaks and lots of encouragement they both made it to the top. Quite an achievement.

Paul (on the left) who runs cycling holidays took great pleasure in being first to the top and leaving the two whipper-snappers trailing.

I think it could be a while before either of them agree to get back on a bike!
