What a day!
For ages, we've been saying we must go back to Brecon, a special place to us for many reasons, including where we got engaged. My suggestions of going for a day over Christmas were dismissed as being a long way for what would be a short walk. Until yesterday when the idea was suggested back to me. Men.
What a day - alarm set for 5am, up before that thanks to small child and it not being worth going back to sleep, so we drove in the dark and the fog - and rain at times - to Brecon, wondering if it was all worth it. And thank you Brecon, bright, stunning sunshine, the hats and gloves soon stashed away. It so happened there was a 'fan dance' event going on, and we passed a few hundred runners and walkers making their way along the wet, muddy path. The little boy was much admired by grissley old-timers as he made his was up the hill on his little legs, as for the littlest one, he slept through most of it, but 5 months is a pretty good age to be starting out in Brecon.
And, I now have a stash of lovely pictures just in case there is no 'photo of the day' and I need a fix of hills and sunshine.
