5 year milestone

My blip is a Georgian brass numeral from the display in the window of the Edina Lock & Key Co. I took this photo this morning after meeting Darcie, Keith and Jackson with Mr hazelh for brunch at the Blue Bear café.

Today I hit the milestone of 1825 blips. This provides an opportunity to reflect on my fifth year of blipping. A quick zip through my most recent blips presents a working life that is dominated by meetings and email shovelling, and a social life of partying punctuated by highly competitive games of Settlers of Catan.

In the past year I have also learnt about ice hockey, helped organise a 30 year reunion of my undergraduate class , discovered a way to enjoy porridge, lost and found a precious ring, finally seen Andrew Bird in concert , and completed some life-changing/enhancing form filling (more on this tomorrow). Less happily, I was appalled by the Brexit vote in June and the election of Donald Trump in the US in November.
