Heading Home

We travelled south of Worksop today to the Robin Hood Trophy orienteering event.  I can never think of Worksop without thinking of the Egg Fairy!  When our girls were youngsters one of their favourite children's tv programmes (and ours) was Maid Marian and one of the episodes was all about the legendary egg fairy of Worksop.  I shall say no more!

When we were still teaching, orienteering was always done first thing and then it would be in the car and home to mark and prepare lessons etc.  Now we are retired it's good to start later and socialise with friends before and after running.  Also we took Joe to the event today and we dropped him back at his Uni digs in Sheffield afterwards so the sun was already setting by the time we were on the motorway heading home, hence the emergency blip through the windscreen!

On a more important note, Happy Birthday to our Becky who is celebrating it in snowy Boston with Rob xx
