Walking on ice

After dropping off some shopping when I got home from work, I had to go out again to the nearest supermarket for something I needed and which the one I'd been to before didn't have. I still without blip at that point and decided to walk to the supermarket, hoping to find an entry for this day. On my walk, I spotting this crow walking on the water that had frozen over and was also covered with the dusting of snow we'd had during the night. For some reason, it kept touching the ice with its beak.

The entire day was grey and without colour. I would almost think that I'd taken this photo in mono if it hadn't been for a leaf that was lying on the ice.
