Poole Visit

Home now after a nice visit to Poole. We didn't get in as much plodding as planned as I had forgotten it would be dark early and late! Leo had me up at 4am but there was no persuading him out into the dark morning :)

We had a nice room overlooking the Harbour but it was so cloudy and misty we couldn't see that far. The hotel provided binoculars in all the rooms so you could check out the harbour comings and goings - a nice touch, even though they weren't magic binoculars, allowing us to see through the mist.

We had a good catchup with Ian's family and a nice Sunday lunch out before making our way back to Cully - all ready for work and school tomorrow.

It has been very mild the past few weeks but I have been reading about the chill that is about to descend. Best look the thermals out :)
