The Yellow Rose

This morning I had to go into town to pay a bill due to our bank now closing on a Saturday. 

I looked for a Blip while I was in town, but it is such a gloomy, grey day, nothing was particularly inspiring. I took photos of the patio roses for sale at the flower kiosk on the way into town. They were a welcome flash of colour! And the rain actually enhances them!

I am still trying to sort my prescription out. I'm not even getting the recorded message on the doctor's answerphone any more. After the machine picks up the call it goes to a rather shrill, aggressive ringtone which cuts  off any hardy soul who can still bear to listen to it after about 20 seconds!
