Orchid

The weather was not conducive to venturing out this afternoon so I decided to try and photograph some of the plants/flowers around the house. Used a candle holder to support the flower, a white chopping board as a reflector and a combination of a torch and a bedside lamp to provide lighting. I also don't have an appropriate lens so significant coping was required. All being said the results were not too bad and it helped pass a quiet, wet afternoon. A second photo is in extras.
