Geese again!

Took a trip up to Blair Drummond to get some fresh air and walk Rona. We did not want to walk too far as we are still coughing . We walked part way round the Quarry Loch on the estate. The path was rather muddy and someone needed a good shower when she came home. A trim is booked for Friday!

On the plus side I thought I heard a kingfisher and we watched carefully as we walked along. Sure enough a kingfisher was perched on a thin branch at the edge of the loch. I was so excited and tried to get a shot at the same time as Rona decided to choke on a piece of grass. One click and it was away. (Extra photo...the proof!) It is awful I know but a wee reminder of a special moment.
