Roses In Bloom....

No, not in the garden, they are in a vase. I used one of the blooms alongside a dried rose for my Flower Friday blip. I wanted to capture them while they were at their best, so used the macro lens on my new camera to get a close up shot.  Not sure if I have succeeded but I liked this one best of several attempts
Really horrible day, hasn't stopped raining, so no chance of going outside to get a frog's eye view for today's Mono Monday, even if I could have been able to get down that low.  I did do a mono shot of a very wet garden through a rain soaked window, but it was too boring to use.
