The change in the weather

I've had my head down all day doing chores at home and with the nearly constant rain I didn't feel like going out.  I had hoped the weather would change in the afternoon so I could quickly go looking for  some redwings which are rumoured to have surfaced locally. But it wasn't to be.

But just before I had to go out to pick Helena up from her Monday afternoon teaching job, this huge warm weather front swirled across the sky from the south-west heralding a significant change. Apologies for this being an emergency blip, but I like our landscape views and at this time of year they can be dramatic.
