Eva, the hologram nurse

Met Eva ,the hologram nurse, when I paid my first visit to the

new NHS high tech hospital in Larbert to visit a friend this afternoon.

Officially she delivers health messages for passing patients and visitors.

In reality she is the source of some ribald jokes. Men put their hands behind the opaque screen of Eva's boobs and give her a "wee feelie".

Several expressed doubts over her usefulness and wondered if the £25,000 could have been better spent.

Did anyone listen to her message? No.

But the concept is good.
One member of staff said: " I suppose she's a tourist attraction."
