Birthday girls

Growing up, being bullied as badly as I was, and as depressed as I was, I never really imagined myself at 25. I never actually thought I'd make it that far. I never planned for anything past 25 until a couple years ago and even then, it was past the 1/4 century mark. It was a big day for me and a big day for Dale's niece who turned 8 as well. My day was spent poolside, watching a happy little girl swim with her friends and family. I got to connect more with some of Dales family and even snuck away for a quiet moment of reflection. All in all, the day I never dreamt of went far better than I could have even planned
