Raging Bull cactus

A local cinema, the Filmhouse, is showing a series of old Martin Scorsese movies. This evening we went in to see Raging Bull starring Robert De Niro. The jury is still out regarding my thoughts on it. I am telling myself I should have thought it was amazing when in reality we were both nearly falling asleep!  The weather has taken a very cold turn and later this week we are supposed to get 'snowlightning'!!!! I love the way they keep coming up with new names for our weather systems when only one word would do... Well if there's lightning, you won't see me for dust. I am terrified of lightning. Anyway, my winter-flowering cactus has lots of wee buds on it. Hopefully it will be in bloom soon.
