Cold!

I finally gave in and went out in the cold this afternoon (a balmy 23F/-5C) to get today's blip.  Lots of bird feeder action but I didn't like most of the shots I took.  After thirty minutes, I came back in, had some coffee, bundled up and went back out for another try.  Mrs. Cardinal pictured here was kind enough to pose in the light of the setting sun and in front of some dark shrubbery.  


I did do a little post editing and darkened the background a bit (the birdie was not harmed during the post editing of this picture)... 

We are supposed to have warm weather by the end of the week so hopefully I'll be blipping again soon.
