Popcorn Cassia

Yes, the flowers smell faintly like popcorn!
And the flowers shed their dark hulls as they pop/bloom.
You have to love nature. :)
This one is in my neighbors front garden- the plants are used in a lot of landscaping in AZ but I think it originated in Kenya and is very drought tolerant.
I may have to try planting one in our yard.
