Winter sun

Although it was chilly, the sun was shining so we wrapped up well and went for a beach walk for a bit of fresh air.  

Last summer a group from St Andrews university began a project monitoring harbour (common) seals around Orkney and a lot of work was done in the bay below our house.  One of the devices they had attached to the seals had become detached and got lost so Mike and I have been keeping an eye out for it along the shore over the winter.  No joy so far, but it's an excuse for an explore along the beach!
