Straw dolly

This craft dates from pagan times. People made straw ornaments which were used for signs of love or perhaps to give good fortune for the next harvest, lots of info on the net which I hadn't read before. A friend gave me this 25-30 years ago and I would hate to throw it away. However it says you should plant it the following year for a new crop...so I think I will do that next autumn and grow some more wheat ( if it is still viable ).

I tried a few different settings for a tiny Tuesday shot but late evening didn't help with my settings. In the end I used the tripod and put it on an old piece of cardboard.
