Another Birthday

We were lucky enough to be with #1 Daughter, Rachel, for her birthday today, that's why Daniel's wearing a party hat from a cracker, though the celebration had been a joint one yesterday. I couldn't help remembering what life was like 30 years ago. Great parties!

Anyhow! Another opportunity to play games with The Grandchildren. This is a new version of Snakes and Ladders. A 3D version with round balls that run all over the floor instead of flat counters! Nevermind, the disappointment of having to go all the way down a snake is lessened by the fun of seeing the ball roll all the way down a slide.

I'm glad the kids like board games, we played Junior Monopoly, too. Much less boring than the long, drawn-out, falling deeper into debt, adult version!

On this visit we've played a lot of games at the table, children's and adults ones. Happy times!
