Day 23: A la Ronde, Donkeys and Planes
Set off for the quirky A la Ronde (sixteen sided house, as above) before carrying on to Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. This was (not unsurprisingly) full of both donkeys and children. No guesses as to which were the better behaved. Plan was to drive to Portsmouth, but abandoned this given the thunderstorms, flooding and the need for a decent cup of coffee. Instead, called in at the Fleet Air Arm Museum - which turned out to be a fantastic decision. Now, I'm not a fan of planes, but even I thought their Aircraft Carrier Experience was pretty special. Plus, got to walk inside a concorde. And got a much needed cup of coffee.
