Plans

Well, it's the time of year for making holiday plans.

Unfortunately Dr D hasn't yet been told when hers will be. A bit inconsiderate. We have a rough idea, but making firm plans isn't possible yet. She does have a week next month. (Second prize is two weeks in February.)

My plan for Scotland this year is a few days in the Outer Hebrides. The ferry from Oban to Barra (or maybe South Uist), then driving north to Lewis. Ferry from Harris to Skye, and back south via Raasay.

My late dad was involved in the buyout of Raasay (adviser, not participant) so it would be good to see how things have moved on over 35 years.

A summer week in Lithuania would be ideal. A chance to catch up with Ramune again and maybe even to visit the coast (Klaipeda & Nida) for the first time.

We'll see.
