Naa-n
We decided to go into Edinburgh today. I quite fancied going to an Art Gallery and G wanted to have a look at the David Michalek installation which was at the Summerhall. Before we went along we stopped in at a pub in Marchmont to grab some lunch. Lil had had hers before we left but I let her have a bit of my naan bread. She's not entirely convinced.
As for the culture? We stayed for about 10 minutes, 5 of which were spent wandering around the venue trying to figure out where to go. When we did figure it out I couldn't get the buggy in the door of the installation room so we took it in turns to have a look, dodging the arty types sitting on the floor taking it all in. It was a triptych of people who had been shot for 5 seconds and the film then stretched over 10 minutes. Interesting enough but would have preferred to take Lil in as well rather than leave her in the corridor. Don't know what you do if you're in a wheelchair and interested in that type of thing.
The best bit of our big day out was finding an unwanted wooden chest by some bins as we walked to the exhibition. We popped it into the car and I'm going to have a go at restoring it over the next wee while.
