SASSIE

Today has been a very sad day.  We had to take our beautiful Sassie to the vets and we knew the news wouldn't be good.  She had stopped eating and drinking and you could see that she had lost weight.  The vet confirmed that she had lost a third of her body weight since her last visit.

She died with dignity at the age of 13 years 7 months in our arms.  Having lost one of our precious animals in the past without us we were determined to be with her at the end.

I have cried on and off most of the day and would never have thought that her passing would have affected me so much.  Please bear in mind, we have cleared up a lot of pewk, poo and fur ball in the last few months but even so, she was ours.

I'm sorry to have to report such sadness but at least she will suffer no longer. xxxxx
