Clockwork Orange
I took Alexander on the Subway. Not the stinky sandwich shop, nor a stinky underpass, but the venerable Glasgow Subway, third oldest underground railway in the world. He was fascinated at the lights whizzing past.
Unfortunately, its venerability means there's no access for wheelchairs or prams, so I have only taken him on once before, about two years ago, in a sling. Luckily this time he could walk down the steps while I lugged the pram. A kind lady held his hand on the escalator at Govan and jumped him over the top step, and a nice man hefted the pram over the gate because the ticket man couldn't see me waving.
I''m surprised he could walk that well because I just spent a small fortune on new shoes and made him have ludicrously clown-sized shoes that he could grow into....
P.S. I have never ever heard anyone actually call it 'the Clockwork Orange'
