No fog today, yet lots of smoke

I resumed the cutting and burning today. It took most of the day to burn the hedge cutting taken over the weekend. There was a lot of smoke, an awful lot of smoke that spread over the countryside. By the time it was all finally been consumed I stunk like a kipper. It was still smoldering at 7.00pm , after which I left it to finish on its own.
The other interesting thing that happened today was Daughter Two sending me a link to the RSPCA web site that was offering volunteer positions for drivers. I have applied, could be interesting.
