a taste of Germany

Marlena arrived yesterday and brought with her some presents to give us a taste of Germany - this beautiful angel, some chocolates, and a huge stollen. Somebody had told her that I love stollen, which originates from Dresden, where she lives. Thank you, Marlena!

I woke up feeling terrible today, and spent the whole morning dozing in front of the Aga with Jess, but now I feel that I might be on the mend. Onwards and upwards!
