Work continues at the lakeshore in Bowness to make the area more attractive to visitors. Photo taken at the only point I was able to stick my camera between the barriers. Weather was wild ......... squally showers with some hail in, so I didn't walk as far as planned before heading to the shelter and warmth of the supermarket. 

The night was very windy. I was awake at 4 and was sure I could hear the garden gate banging. So, downstairs and outside only to find it firmly shut. I didn't bother going back to bed so I expect to be asleep early tonight.
