Flushing the pipes

As part of regular maintenance, the water pipes are flushed by means of letting water out through fire hydrants. We happen to have a fire hydrant below ground level on our premises and we are required to always have it accessible. We do park our car there but the fire hydrant remains accessible behind the car.

In other news: feeling a little better today, but not good enough. Tomorrow I will pay our family doctor a visit...
