It's still unnecessarily cold

No one, apart from the warmly dressed snow sport enthusiast really loves snow. So spare a thought and something practical like money, clothes or help for those who are out in it and not having fun - be that animals, the homeless, the elderly, refugees etc etc. You can do some of that even if you don't have your own snow to complain about.
