Wind swept Pampas grass.
It has been a fascinating day for weather.
No snow here in Rishton, thankfully, as the roads are safer, but powerful swirling wind has been a feature. Some areas of the North West have no power.
Next door's green canvas gazebo has been billowing impressively in the gusts, and some of the metal framework has buckled. I mention this to focus on the wind strength. I am keeping an eye on my flowerpots and have grouped them together near the wall for protection,
I went out to buy my copy of The People's Friend this morning and then stayed home, watching some news and godtv, who are praying specifically this month for peace and blessings for Israel.
My afternoon blip walk was a different story. Although sunny and blue skied, which was very welcome, as I really don't like low light or fog,
I had to plant my feet very firmly as I shot the pampas grasses, and there was a fading rainbow in the distance, and it hailed.
So cold I got a headache, inspite of wearing a Thinsulate hat and a big scarf.
Keep warm and safe blipper friends, there is more dramatic weather to come.
