The Irish Sea
We have been told that you can see the Wicklow Mountains from here. The visibility hasn't been good enough for that, but we can't complain about the weather. Today strong winds whipped up the waves at high tide when this was taken, reminding me of some of our past journeys over the Irish Sea. Like the 7 hour journey in the "fast boat" from Dublin to Liverpool, when one of the engines packed up just outside Dublin Bay. I think I prefer to watch the waves than be on them.
