Calm before the Storm

15 minutes before this photo was taken, a squall had swept down Buttermere, whipped up the lake and obscured the mountains. 15 minutes later, the same happened again, with hail thrown in. It was a fantastic walk amid the elements, but I was quite glad to get back to the car and warm up!
