Late afternoon light

After a sweltering hot day, it was a blessing to take a walk to the rock pools and have a paddle! I loved the way  the rocks were touched by the setting sun.
Tomorrow we leave for Cape Town, but with a stopover at Swellendam for a night. No need to rush  - the beauty of being retired!!
It's daughter Penni's birthday today so we look forward to seeing her in Cape Town for a belated birthday celebration, and, of course, on the 14th it's our granddaughter's first birthday.
